Howard was angrier and more miserable than usual on the air Monday and Tuesday last week....he also made reference to something that had happened last weekend in his personal life that was really bumming him out. The first few years on Sirius until Artie went off the rails were the absolute best, IMO. I think never replacing him was a mistake.
The long-form interviews are fantastic. There have been many people that I wasn't interested in at all that became very interesting with Howard talking to them. I still listen to every show front to back and enjoy the hell out of it. Just don't think anything will ever match those early Sirius years.
