    Elliot out for rest of year basically.

    Hextall has to get a goalie now. Neuvirth cannot be counted on as a starting goalie over an extended period of time.

    You cannot lose that game like that, especially to a team youre battling for the playoffs with.
    And Neuvirth was not good tonight at all, exhibit B on why they need another goalie.

    Wings retain half of Mrazeks salary.

    What this team has been able to do this year is pretty incredible.  Losing Wayner and both Goalies & not even flinching.

    29-8-3 since Dec 3rd, coming off losing 10 in a row...that was at a rough count, I could be wrong. 
    If that is correct...and if you are 9-1-2 in February headed into yesterday's deadline....how can he mess with the team and face his players? 
    The best thing he did was not fire the coach and trust his gut. 
    Pretty spectacular, really.  (Losing 8 times in nearly 3 months? Wow.)

    the young kids have been great since the 10 game losing streak. Konecny has been fantastic.  Have to give Giroux credit too. I thought he was a shot player after the last few years but he has been great this year.
