pjsteelerfan said:Verified Fan works exactly the same as normal Ticketmaster, you just have to enter your unique code attached to your account. You are not guaranteed tickets, but you enter for them the same and can choose hard tickets or PDF. Now this is for Ticketmaster shows. You get an email that you are selected early in the morning then then an hour or two before the sale a text with a link and your code.
As to the other questions, no one knows yet if the sale will be through Ticketmaster or the Red Sox site. Tickets.com handled them last time, and I had assumed they would again. Guessing that info will be sent out to those who entered the verified fan lottery tomorrow with all the instructions.
So we don't even know if Fenway verified presale will be run by TM?
How does one set up an account to make sure they are logged in ready to go before the site gets buggy when presale begins?0 -
Good luck to those that missed out in the 10 club sale.0

I did the verified fan thing for Bruce on Broadway - multiple tries. You get an email the night before saying if you are verified or if on standby.
If verified, you get a text soon before the onside, and then it's like normal Ticketmaster, just with less people trying for tickets. But you still need to be quick, etc.
If on standby, you are shut out with no options. For the last Bruce on Broadway release in Dec, I was on standby but got a code 2 hours after the first on sale. I was still able to get seats to a show, albeit Bruce is a little different since many were looking for cheaper ($75/seat) tickets vs. the $1700/seat tickets.
The verified fan thing, from a buying perspective, is just a smaller number of people hammering the server at once. Less wait time and no absolute server crashes of the past.0 -
Some more questions I haven't seen answers to;
1) Does anyone know how the priority we selected works? I'm hoping to get a code for my 2nd preference (got 10C tickets to my 1st). Is it similar to the 10C lottery, everyone that had that one as their #1 preference will get their code first and if any tickets are left I would be on standby and might get a code later??
2) Does it say anywhere what time the presale starts for each show? 10am local time?
3) Too late for this now but how were we supposed to enter our phone number? Should we have entered the +1 then area code + number with no spaces? I believe it had the +1 country code already so I wrote the remaining 10 digits with no spaces, hoping this is the format they were looking for..0 -

2. That info will be in the email you get. Probably the normal 10-12 local time range.
3. If they accepted the form, I'm sure you'll be fine.0 -

Some have said tickets.com?
That site doesn't look right
http://www.tickets.com/search/?s=red sox
The red Sox MLB page links to a Nov site with only options (on mobile) to buy Sox tickets0 -
Tickets.com and TM aren't linked. I don't know how they can prevent the use of codes from another TM account. For verified TM you log into your TM account before using the code. What is tickets.com going to do?

Yes .... this is the public on-sale. The Verified Fan process is being used by all sort of events that sell tickets. If you want to even try to score tickets to Hamilton in NYC you have to sign up through Verified Fan during the small window it is open. Springstien on Broadway was the same way too. So yes if you scored 10c tix for you and your ticket buddy, you can still try to get tickets through TM sale. You will get an email telling you info you will be getting a code an hour or so before the public on sale. The code DOES NOT guarantee you tickets. Just the opportunity to get tickets.Who I Am said:Can you still acquire TM Verified Fan tickets to a show that you already have 10C tix for? For family?
Good luck, can’t wait until 9/2 !!0 -
It will be Ticketmaster .... as we all signed up for “TicketMaster Verified Fan” tickets0

This should hopefully silence doubters of where the tickets will be sold even though the link has been on mlb.com for awhile now. When you click on buy tickets from the Red Sox page, you are prompted to enter a password to enter the sale. That is where you will enter your VF code.whoyouare72 said:Uniondale, NY 04/30/03 - Camden, NJ 07/05/03 - MSG 07/08/03 - Reading, PA 10/01/04 - Philly 10/03/05 - Ed Sullivan Theatre 05/04/06 - MSG 06/25/08 - MSG 05/21/10 - NYC (EV solo) 06/21/11 - Montreal 09/07/11 - Brooklyn 10/18/13 - Central Park 09/26/15 - Philly 04/29/16 - MSG 05/01/16 - MSG 05/02/16 - Fenway 08/05/16 - Fenway 09/02/18 - Fenway 09/04/180 -
I just got an email from TM that I have been selected. I already won tix through 10 club to both Fenway shows and they were the only shows I put in for.
We are happy to share that you have been selected for the Pearl Jam Presale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan for Fenway Park in Boston, MA. Due to overwhelming demand, we have randomly assigned selected fans to 2 presale shopping windows. You can expect to receive a text message 2 hours before this time with your presale access code, and a link to shop for tickets.
Note: Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and are not guaranteed. There is a four (4) ticket limit per code, which can only be used once.0 -

I am pretty sure swapping codes does NOT work unless you give each other ALL of your ticketmaster account log in info, which frankly, as much as I love and trust my fellow 10Club friends, I don't share that info ever.
I just got my notice, I actually don't even remember selecting for any particular show but at least it's for exactly the city I'd want it to (Seattle).
Anyone know if we have access to either show with this code, or just one show will show up?0 -
