$1.00 pending charge, is it still around?

Of course, here I am nervous again on Ticket Drawing day.
I swore I read something about this but now I can't seem to find it. In the past, the Ten Club had a $1.00 pending charge in my bank account (which assured me that my card/bank was all good to go in the event I won).
This year, using a new credit card, I don't see that pending activity. Should I be worried? Did they change it this time?

    I just came on here to post the same thing.  I received my confirmation email, but don't have the $1 charge.

    The confirmation email doesn't say anything about the $1 charge...I'm just trying to see if they got rid of that OR if anyone does have the $1 charge now.

    My credit card has been holding the $1 charge since I entered lottery on Friday

    Yeah, I got the email that I’m entered, but haven’t checked my credit card charge... but I did get the 3rd confirmation I entered as a personal call from Ed who told me that yes I’m entered.  That’s strange that you didn’t get that???

    It varies by bank or CC company.  I have Bank of America and I immediately had a charge and refund posted.  Others will stay as a hold, others will disappear completely.  The hold is merely to see if the card you’re using is available to be charged.

    Thank you - I get so nervous on dumb things like this. Did I mess up when typing in the 16 digits? Did my bank start a fraudulent report without me knowing?

    To add to that, both the charge and refund are now totally gone from my account.  I’m not worried shouldn’t be either.  I would assume that if 10C was unable to verify your card, you would not have been able to complete your lotto entry.

    I messed up typing in the CC info when entering - page flagged it immediately, and wouldn't let me continue until I'd entered a valid number. We also never saw the $1.00 charge, but got the e-mail, and My Tickets shows the entries. We're also using a brand new card (Southwest Rewards Visa card from Chase), so we're in the same boat, but fellow Jammers have allayed our fears. Guess we'll find out this afternoon!

    Can someone remind me...Did you have to put in your CC info while putting in for the tix or does it just use the CC you have saved?   (I just recalled that I had a new card a month ago but I don't recall the process of signing up for tix last week).

    Just phoned American Express and the agent confirmed she sees a $1 charge.

    You put in the info when joining the lotto.

    You have to enter it yourself again.

    My CC company loves to decline my most vital purchases since they are paranoid about fraud. Think I’ll call them with a heads up. Does anyone know what entity name shows up for the charge?  Same as the membership charge?  Also, is it $259 exactly?

    I'm not complaining - I'd rather be assured tickets this way than have to deal with TM. I just know that my number is high enough that I'll never have great seats.
