Hmm I like your thinking - its is a bit of a drop in grade isnt it. Fuck Zenith now Im back to square one. Cant do perfume either - she gets that nearly every year.

And gift vouchers I always feel slack coz there is no thought on my behalf. I also thought of a nice knife set for the kitchen but the lazy buggers dine out every night. What about a few hours at a health joint for a facial, massage and all that crap?????

you can always do perfume - it only lasts a year anyway

but the facial & massage is good - just make sure its somewhere nice, not some half baked joint thats going to give you a rash for the next week ;)

or what about some really nice wine??? - are they into art - get them a nice print for the wall - or garden - get them a set of nice set of big ceramic pots & plants. Or if they eat out a lot - buy them dinner at a nice resturant. Shall I go on?? hell - perhaps i should go shopping for you ;)

I'm confused. Old Doris is your mum?

Glad I'm not working in the city at the moment. I remember a few years ago working near Pitt Street Mall around Christmas time. People kept stepping on my heels and I kept getting strollers rammed into the back of legs. Gonna do some shopping at Westfield Hornsby tomorrow.. it shouldn't be too bad.

You pretty much have - process of elimination. CHEEERS. The print for the wall is a very good idea. Pots and dinner are out - spend enough on garden. They are wine buffs anyway and other family have vineyards - so nope.

I like the print idea. Where do you suggest I look Elf Zenith?

hell i dont know that - im not in sydney!!

umm - in canberra you can get nice stuff at the national gallery, and there are framing places at most malls that carry prints too. depends what they like i guess - abstract, landscape, photography??? contemporary, renaissance??? if you'd left yourself a bit more time you could have picked up a print online, and then had it framed.

you'll find something in the city no doubt - just keep in mind what style they like - match your wall colour or a feature in the room it might hang in - but not in a big way mind you. small highlights in a picture, or the backing, or even the frame alone match really well to a feature wall, or a piece of furniture.

yknow - if you were pregnant, and 16yrs old, would you let it be reported in the local paper??? would you tell anyone except perhaps your best friend, the poor unfortunate boy, and your parents??

ive told my boys so many times - when it happens it happens - just PUT SOMETHING ON IT!!!! hell i will even buy them for them myself if i have to.
