Any idea to know what my number was when I was a member in 2003ish?
I'd guess it would have been in the 300k range 0 0

            Think the math is off. I joined in November of 2015 and I'm 530,XXX. So closer to 130,000 in just over 2 years. Still quite impressive.98 Raleigh 03 Raleigh 06 Camden1 13 Baltimore 16 Greenville16 Raleigh16 Wrigley1 16 Wrigley2 18 Missoula 18 Wrigley1 20 Baltimore

Its simple. More memberships = better chance at GA lottery and chance to obtain more shows.mwplum said:That shocks me too, as my original membership lapsed. But when I started again in 2009 I have somewhere in the 425xxx range (I believe). That means it only grew by about 100,000 between 2003 and 2009, and yet its grown 140,000 in the last year? Must have something to do with hall of fame...or perphaps it means that more flippers have joined. If that’s the case, then I’m really glad we Have this new ticket system0

Probably very true. How many couples both signed up 4 or 5 years ago compared to now? Would have been almost pointless back then unless you just wanted 2 Christmas singles.BCBA said:

The non-active number would then become active, a new number wouldn't be assigned.timdwilli said:
What's the rationale on having that placeholder? If a free membership decides to join, they get a new number anyway.PJNB said:
Did not know numbers where assigned for the free memberships too. Makes sense then.100 Pacer said:
Numbers are assigned for various things. They're not actually activated for membership until dues are paid. So you can have a rush of non-members purchasing goods from the shop and subsequently have a run on numbers.PJNB said:The fact that 10 club numbers has jumped 140,000 spots in less then a year really has me scratching my head.To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. But that would give the person seniority based on when they activated their free account.100 Pacer said:
