    No way it grew 140K in the last year.  My number is 657XXX and I re-joined June 2016.  If the 682XXX above was a Jan 18 join, then 10C only grew about 25K in over the last 18-20 months.

    member numbers mean nothing now anyway. I've had 3. now I'm in the 500,000 range. not sure. but when I first joined in 2006 (!!) I was 400,000 something I think.

    Used a postage stamp and sent an envelope  to be on their mailing list when they were the opening band for RHCP!
    That made me XXX6.
    Best postage stamp use ever!!

    why do people put x's in their number? is there some risk of fraud I'm not aware of? they used to be printed on the deep mags for all to see.

    If this is correct, that would mean hypothetically someone could have signed up for a free account in 2003 and become a paid member for the first time on January 23rd and they would have the same seating priority on this tour as someone who has paid annual dues for 15 years. I could be wrong, but almost positive that a free account holder who decides to become a paid member gets a new number just the same as when someone's membership lapses and they rejoin.
