10 club member number

Probably a dumb question but how do I find out what my membership number is?

The fact that 10 club numbers has jumped 140,000 spots in less then a year really has me scratching my head.

Yeah man, I was in college and just went to see them in Nashville and was a member for a year or so.  Never had the disposable income I have now, so never went to see them after that.  Still listened to them over the years but found my love again in Chicago in 2016.  Turned my wife into a big fan so that makes everything easier!

Numbers are assigned for various things. They're not actually activated for membership until dues are paid. So you can have a rush of non-members purchasing goods from the shop and subsequently have a run on numbers.
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

Did not know numbers where assigned for the free memberships too. Makes sense then.

What's the rationale on having that placeholder? If a free membership decides to join, they get a new number anyway.

That shocks me too, as my original membership lapsed. But when I started again in 2009 I have somewhere in the 425xxx range (I believe). That means it only grew by about 100,000 between 2003 and 2009, and yet its grown 140,000 in the last year? Must have something to do with hall of fame...or perphaps it means that more flippers have joined. If that’s the case, then I’m really glad we Have this new ticket system

I was told it's not exactly sequential.  I dont know what kinda voodoo they do and membership numbers fall off.

Think the math is off. I joined in November of 2015 and I'm 530,XXX. So closer to 130,000 in just over 2 years. Still quite impressive.

Its simple.  More memberships = better chance at GA lottery and chance to obtain more shows.

Probably very true. How many couples both signed up 4 or 5 years ago compared to now? Would have been almost pointless back then unless you just wanted 2 Christmas singles.

I signed up a month ago and am 677XXX and my husband signed up February 2016 and his number is 540XXX.
