    Well put it this way, i'd rather go up with someone than go by myself, and flying from Sydney gives a better choice of times because there's more flights out of Sydney than there are out of Newcastle.

    I'm not really sure about accomodation. I'd want to stay in Surfers due to the fact that i'd prefer having a small stagger back to bed rather than a slow, long crawl on hands and knees.

    Righto looks like you are coming to Sydney then.

    Def stay smack bang in the heart of it all. A little bit more expensive accom means no taxi's to and from. Plus if I cant smell the ocean my balls shrink and I start leaking blood from each ear.

    I envisaged taking friday arvo and the full day monday off.

    I'd have you all up at my house!! But to stagger back to it would take us about 20 hours!!
    Are you concerned about the type of Accomodation? Reason i ask is there is a Backpackers pretty much in the guts of it all, which is pretty cheap. anyone can stay there. you can get room that accomodate a certain number of people.

    There is so much accomation within a kilometre radius though, so really, the choice is yours.

    Something with a small kitchen would be sweet. I couldn't do a packed out backpackers - would do my flippin head in. I wanna tv, non-communal bowl and shower and somewhere to roll a joint late at night and not have 8000 smelly pommy backpackers loitering about.

    EDIT: i just read on about coverting it. i know for queensland you can only leave it left hand drive if it is over 30 years old, other wise to register it you need to convert it.

    Crown Towers is about 3 blocks up from Cavill. It's between Palm Ave & Staghorn Ave.

    Its on Cavill Ave ya fool!! On the corner of it anyway. Transit Centre one block over from Hard Rock so you can Bus anywhere from there :)

    Hard Rock is right next to Cavill

    Trust me mate, it's probably easier to hire a car than get a bus because then you can go and leave when you want. I hate being a prisoner to schedules and times
