    Hi all

Now people dont be shy, the Top 10 game is still well and truly alive!!

Current Top 10 is Top 10 pick up lines sailors from the Kitty Hawk would use while in Sydney:

    Highlights include:
B - eing EV's cousin and hooking up a meeting,
my personal favourite from Zig: Fuck Me,
or my own contribution, How would you like to be my Rear Admiral?

Feel free to add to the list, its sad seeing this slide to pages 2, 3 and further hehe

Tough topic - pick up lines have never been my strong point but I gave it a crack

Beach Boys are touring over here soon. They're supported by Daddy Cool.

I'd be extremely excited now if I was approaching my 60th birthday ;)

They sang that Kokomo song didnt they? Lost credence after that piece of tripe.

I saw Fleetwood Mac a couple of years ago and the lads still hassle me to this day. One doesnt say much tho as he went to Robbie Williams.

I'm very tempted by Black Sabbath's visit up here to play in the tin shed

Leigh and I would've loved to have seen Fleetwood Mac. Were they good? Or don't you really like them?

I also would have loved to have seen Bette Milder when she toured Australia a year or two ago! :o

    Tigress and I was Diving...

:) Your welcome re the shirts! You both got the same shirt but in different sizes. Good shirt!

Tig...re tight neck: I know! Doesn't it suck. Aus_Suz made a comment about it on here when she received hers too. Have you seen the aqua ladies shirt with the avocado on front and names of Aussie cities on the back! That ones awesome too and has a good neck!

Ha ha, but you are quite happy to bong on after the kid is three months old.

    Now that's parenting :D

Noooooo, not like that. I don't smoke that much now. If I had a child I think I'd only smoke if I had someone coming over for a bbq or something and we when they're in bed we sneak behind the shed and share a joint. I wouldn't be an everyday or even an every month pot smoker. But sometimes a nice bong is just fucking awesome and no kid is going to stop me from doing it EVER AGAIN. Cut right back to hardly ever -- yes. But I'm never going to say I'm not having another smoke EVER again. And to be honest, I'd prefer my kids to be chilled out pot-heads compared with head busting meat head wankers who drink rum and picks fights!

I'm very pro-pot! If I would have said I was going to have a 6-pack every weekend after my child has stopped breastfeeding, no one would have blinked an eyelid. Yet if I say I smoke a single bong once a weekend, people would have a problem with it. I don't get it.:confused:

Sorry, i wasn't having a dig. it just sounded funny. there is far worst shit going on in the world for me to care what you do with yourself, i've known people who didn't even bother to stop from doing that sort of stuff(smoking drinking, drugs ect.) while they were prego, those type of peeps shouldn't reproduce. i realise you are not like a stoner who wakes up in the morning and has a bucket, it sounds like you and leigh are both very smart and set up people, hell you run you own businesses, you could probably raise a kid better then i could, and i've got one on the way.

oh and when i said "Now that's Parenting" in my head it sounded like the simpson ep where Flanders goes nuts and homer comes in to the nuthouse and they give him the cards to read to make ned vent his built up anger, and the last one say "I slept with your wife or significant other" and then homer looks at the docotrs and says "Now that's psychiatry"

    but any way....

off to have some rum and pick a fight.

Could not agree with you more on this one...... ban alcohol, legalize pot i say!!! except for maybe red wine, cause that goes well with anything... including pot! ;)

Oh...that wasn't directed at you. Sorry if it seemed that way. :)

I was just clarifying that we wouldn't be parents who sit there and smoke pot every day when we have kids just in case it came across that way....but then or sort of turned into a stoned rant! ha ha :D:D

A friend of a friend who I've met a few times smoked pot the whole way through her 2 pregnancies -- probably every couple of nights or so! And she's a pretty normal chick that somehow thought it wouldn't harm the baby? And another friend smoked cigarettes the whole way through. That's fucking disgusting! If you're doing anyhing like that, you don't deserve a baby.

Glad you agree....pot doesn't kill people or tear families apart like alcohol does. LEGALISE IT!!!

I'd go to sleep much easier if I saw my 18 year old kids or my 16.5 year old niece Madison leaving for a party with a stash of pot instead of a bottle of vodka!

id have to dissagree with you on that one.... some of my family have been torn appart because of dope.... alot of people dont realise that it is a big contributor to the onset of mental illnesses. in the end, it destroyed my uncles family, and eventually did kill him.

i also have quite a few other friends who have developed mental illness as a result of smoking too much dope. both can be extremely violent at times.

im scared of what dope is doing to my younger brother, and that it will trigger a mental illness in him... he's so aggressive when hes stoned and can barely hold a conversation. when he's sober hes the funniest, kindest, quickest guy you would meet.

im not saying every one is like this... but i think that having the attitude that pot is a bit of harmless fun and is no where near as bad as alcohol is what makes pot just that little more dangerous.
dont get me wrong, i love a bong every once in a while, but im not oblivious to what it has the potential to do. its not a physical dependence that people can develop, but people definately do develop psycological dependences on it.

i miss my little brother as i knew him pre-pot.

and every time i think of my cousins, i am reminded that although pot itself probably cant kill you.... it can be the cause behind illnesses that can kill you.
    RIP uncle charlie.

This is the reason that I bought a Wii :)
Can't wait to play Even Flow on the very cool Guitar Hero 3, Gibson Les Paul.
It's also been announced that in this game you have to come up against special bosses. Slash has been announced as one of the bosses :)

Just heard that "Rock Band" is coming out on the Wii aswell!!!

Really? Hey I think the Beach Boys are cool and I'm nowhere near 60. I saw them play at the sports oval near North Narrabeen beach in the early 90s and John Stamos was on stage with them. Yum! Daddy Cool were cool too.. but Mondo Rock were better. :D

I paid $330 for it with WiiSports included.
The only games i've got (apart from WiiSports) are the ones I purchased via Virtual Console:

Zelda - Ocarina Of Time (Nintendo 64)
    Super Mario 64 (Nintendo 64)
    Punchout! (NES)
    Excitebike (NES)

Gonna get it chipped next week so I should get more games after that ;)

Meh, life wasted is on the Xbox 360 version of GH2, plus and we also get GH3 and Rock Band as well. i still haven't got it though, GH doesn't really do it for me.

The Wii looks fun though and if i had an extra $400 lying round i'd probably get one.

I did get to play a Wii for the first time at a mates place last sunday night..... was a lot of fun, even though we only played bowling.... and I got me a turkey in the last frame!!!! sweet :)
