I can't be sure of that, though I would speculate with them hithing these 4 cities that demand for these shows should be down SOMEWHAT."A smart monkey doesn't monkey around with another monkey's monkey" - Darwin's Theory0
-
I think demand will be higher then ever... the entire eastern time zone is going for Fenway...0
-
I feel like the dates and the fact that they played Fenway two years ago will deter some people. I think Seattle is going to be the big draw this year.

so was that reddit thing just BS? If they play Detroit I could make it 20 shows this year!
"Well, I think this band is incapable of sucking."

I think it comes down to population numbers...
47% of the USA lives in the Eastern Time Zone (with a lot of it jammed into the northeast)
29% in Central Time Zone
16% in Pacific Time Zone
6% in Mountain Time Zone
This explains the "East Coast Bias"... it's where everyone lives, so they tour here more
And Chicago is a massive Metropolis with a huge population... coupled with Ed's connection to the area... it's understandable why they play there so often in larger venues/events

Will be tough deciding lotto priority for these three.

I'm not too concerned. Based on the 10c's announcement it sounds like there will be great odds.0

And it's free! Have been to most of Phish shows at Dicks. Only year I missed was 2011 when I was at Alpine Valley Labor Day weekend. Tickets for Phish, are getting harder to get now because of no yearly membership fees & a resurgence in fans. I do like that you have equal odds for any shows, where as 10C tickets have priority choices for multiple shows. Makes it tougher for getting multiple shows(not including Europe), but not impossible. I like multiple showsRoleModelsinBlood31 said:As a side note I thought it interesting how phish is doing a “ticket request period” for their upcoming summer tour. No fan club, just put in for however many tickets (2,4,6) you want and if lottery picks you you’re locked in for that many tickets, and they can be anywhere from lawn, GA floor, close seats, far seats, whatever. Totally blind, no seniority, but it gives everyone an equal chance to get tickets before the public sale.
Interaated in hearing folks ills thoughts on their system.
So, What you Giving ?........ (Thanks Speedy, Alesek, & Arq+friends)

I suggest you step out on your Porch.

I wish they would just make the whole field GA at Wrigley. That's how it was for Foo Fighters and it was much better/chill.

Yep, I remember that. I thought I even saw Theo there but I must have imagined it.I remember Ed's daughters were sitting a few rows in front of us.
we had some great seats, didn't we? I am thinking about putting in for Reserved again but the GA pit is also alluring.
might split nights 1-reserved night 2-GA or vice versa.

Yikes. I mean, other bands do charge more but $112 for a ticket before charges for PJ in a 45,000 seat stadium, IS a big increase over just 2 years ago.Lerxst1992 said:riley540 said:I emailed the 10c and they said tickets are $85 - $112 before fees on this tour. I’m happy to pay as its worth every penny, but why do you think the steeper prices? 2013 - 2016 was quite a bit more affordable for tickets. Not conplaining! Just curious
Steeper prices? Fans here must know what other major acts charge for prime concert seats?
Well....if I were smart enough to sign up 26 years ago, and could score tenth row, year after year, city after city, I'd probably just stick with the one band as well!ABQ 93, Las Cruces 95, ABQ 98, Bridge School 10/30/99, Lubbock 00, ABQ 00, Denver 03, State College 03, San Diego 03, Vegas 03, PHX 03, D.C. 03, Camden 7/5/03, NYC 7/8/03 + 7/9/03, Vegas 06, San Francisco 7/15/06 + 7/16/06 + 7/18/06, Kansas City 10, [EV:ABQ 11/6/12], Chicago 13, PHX 13, Denver 14--PJ24!, Telluride 16, Chicago 8/20/16, Chicago 8/18/18, Phoenix 22, Denver 22, Vegas 5/16/24

I think some are underestimating Fenway not being a harder ticket to get then Montana. The population, like some have mentioned, is HUGE in the East.. Montana is not the most populated area>LOL>and it's also not the easiest place to get to. I went in 2012 and ther were no direct flights to Missoula.0 -

Will be tough deciding lotto priority for these three.
You guys really think Missoula will be that hard to get? There will be a lot of tickets and it's one show instead of two at the other cities. Most people would rather travel for two shows I would think.0 -
I think a lot of West Coasters and people already coming to Seattle will try to do both. The new lottery setup and the fact that Stubhub is not an option for Safeco will make it even more interestingiOnlyownMymind said:Jbarker said:JojoRice said:
