This is deffinitely not better than Teegan and Sara's version!HesCalledDyer said:A few of my favorites:
The Sundays - Wild Horses (Rolling Stones)
CCR - Proud Mary (Ike & Tina)
Love Spit Love - How Soon is Now? (The Smiths)
Run DMC - Walk This Way (Aerosmith)
Travis - ...Baby One More Time (Britney Spears)
Mark Ronson - Just (Radiohead)
Ted Leo - Since U Been Gone (Kelly Clarkson)
The White Stripes - Walking With A Ghost (Tegan & Sara)
Orbital - Doctor Who (Ron Grainer & Delia Derbyshire)
UB40 - Red Red Wine (Neil Diamond)
It is cool though.
Not a superfan of that song. But I enjoy both. Long time since I heard the WS version though.
Not that you people not knowing Swedish care,
But I ADORE Joakim Thåströms cover of Men bara om min älskade väntar (But only if my one true loved one is waiting) which is a cover of super famous swedish progg rock band Nationalteatern who "translated" the Bob Dylan song Tomorrow is a long time.

Love this cover! No Coder said:I'm a big Bruce fan, but this cover of Drive All Night by Glen Hansard with EV and Jake Clemons is better than his original IMO

I could also add just about any cover that Greg Dulli has done, either with the Afghan Whigs, Twilight Singers, or Gutter Twins.
Come See About Me
My World Is Empty Without You / I Hear A Symphony
If There’s Hell Below (We’re All Going To Go)
See And Don't See
Lovecrimes

Don't think Ryan Adams Down in the hole cover (studio version) is much to write home about. Doesn't add much or take the song in any interisng direction. The same with his Wonderwall cover. Even though Ryan Adams always sound great ofc.
This is amazing though

Also, I'm gonna be that guy and say that Johnny Cash's cover of NIN "Hurt" is downright god fucking awful.

First time I heard it I felt the same way Trent Reznor did but I was deeply into Cash and his American recordings albums and then I saw the video and it all came together.HesCalledDyer said:Also, I'm gonna be that guy and say that Johnny Cash's cover of NIN "Hurt" is downright god fucking awful.0 -
I just think Cash is terrible in general. I don't think I'll ever understand what everyone sees/hears in him.

Awful, terrible. When it comes to Johnny Cash, yes, I mean them.
