They should lose a Stanley Cup Finals series to the Kings!

Oh, they can check that one off!
    ;)
    You're an asshole.
    Yes, indeed!  :)
I do remember celebrating with my brother in 94 when you beat the Canucks.  I was anti-Bure...and my brother was/is a huge Blueshirts fan, so I was rooting you on.
    Enjoy your book.

I think that the Rangers are still paying Bure. Probably Lindros, too.

    Goddamn it!

Just finished Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of the Lusitania, by Erik Larson.  Great writing and fascinating history but one of the most tragic tales I've ever read.

Really enjoyed this book. Erik Larson has quickly become one of my favorites.  The HH Holmes Chicago World's Fair book is one of my favorites.
I'm liking his stuff a lot too!  I went right from this one to this:

which was excellent though I liked Dead Wake better.

Now am reading this fine book:

Just finished this book. Debut novel by the author and it's great. Highly recommend it. Set in the old west/frontier times with subtle witchcraft elements that keep it moving. A very dark tale.

This looked so good I got it.  I really enjoyed it.  Very dark, but fun.  She's a great character.

Just finished this one and really enjoyed it. Didn't realize this was a part of a series, but definitely stands on its own without reading the previous novels.

Just started reading this one. I'm always drawn in by the artwork, font and texture of the book. I love going to the library and browsing the new arrivals.

Finally finished a self-help book that didn’t really help me (maybe should’ve pushed through it more quickly, in less than a year), lol, back onto some light reading again.
