Dear Lord....this one's rough.
He shot himself two weeks after he learned the novel was to be made into a movie.
His father said this book was his suicide note.

The movie was rough going enough- I imagine the book to be even more so, especially with knowing that happened.

Just started 'Roar' by Stacy T. Sims, PhD. A friend recommended it and so far I would do so as well. Basically, it's about women making the mistake of eating and training as if they were small men which doesn't make any sense biologically. It's really interesting, especially for women who participate in competitions. You can tell a man from what he has to say - Neil & Tim Finn
