    I don't think mike is playing bass on any tune. Jeff is the sheriff.
    The heart beat of pearl jam. Some of his bass lines on rndm stuff are wonderful as well.
    Mike and Jeff both on bass on my father's son

    Great to see some love for MFS. Always considered that to be an underrated song by many.

    MYM and LB should be the only songs played live going forward. Because my opinion matters.

    Sirens = concert/vibe killer

  • Sleeping by myself...= life killer

    Solid album. My favorites are My Father's Son, Lightning Bolt & Sirens. Most others are solid/good. My least favorite is Mind Your Manners. Never understood how that one became such a staple.

    The song feels forced. So I agree with you. I listen to the album a good bit, especially Pendulum, LB, Yellow Moon and Infallible.

    Lightning Bolt, Yellow Moon, My Father's Son, Getaway, & Swallowed Whole all really resonate the most with me.  Almost all the rest are really good tracks to me, including the generally unpopular Let The Records Play, Sleeping By Myself, & Future Days.  But Sirens is just an assault on my ears. Worst song in the entire PJ catalog.  Sorry Mike.
