    ive done this for PJ posters on eBay when it was a good deal or about to vanish.  Buy the thing and sell stuff afterwards to help pay for it.  Its tough to land any PJ item exactly on your own terms.

    I thought you'd never find one. But they look like they're dropping. Another sealed one went for even less than that $125 last month, and an "opened never played" went for $1025. I hope you didn't let $25 get in the way of a "never played" copy.

    There's a facebook group called Vinyl Record Raffle International Community that currently has a sealed Benny up for grabs. # 792
    To enter the raffle, you only have to pay $16. Max spots you can buy is 5 spots. 100 spots are being sold. So, the owner will make $1600, but some lucky person will walk away with having paid one of the tiniest payments for this legendary record in quite some time.

    There's maybe 20-30 spots remaining.

    If you see one for sale on Ebay I would highly encourage you to reach out to the seller directly. I was able to work directly with the seller on a super clean Benny and picked it up for under $1000. Have facts available about recent sales so that you can show the seller what the market is. There are some great sales stats on Discogs. If you have an account you can log in and see them. Sites like Popsike also are good resources too. Ebay is taking 10% off the top so a direct sale away from Ebay is going to bring more money to the seller as well. It took me about 6-8 months to settle on a deal I was comfortable with but with some patience you will find a reasonable seller.

    I've been in contact with the seller and it's already on it's way to me with estimated delivery Tuesday the 26th. Worst case, I file a PayPal claim and get my money back. Otherwise, I'm spinning a Benny Tuesday for a price I'm very happy with.

    exactly, nice score. as far as feedback, you have to start somewhere. as a buyer on ebay, there is zero downside
