    On their Sirius channel a few weeks ago, the DJ was talking about the Lighting Bolt tour and mentioned that it ENDED at Wrigley. Maybe I'm reading way too much into that one word, but that makes me believe in a 2018 album.

    It takes them 2 years to get a holiday single out. It will be 2019 or 2020 before we see a new PJ album.

    I would love to think that theyve made a new record which they will promote next year. A few leftover tracks kicking about that are going to go on the 2016 Single, B-sides or bonus material. Unfortunately thats not really how it seems to work with PJ. They seem to just do enough to make an album together.

    PJ are getting close to Rolling Stones in the way they put out a new record once or twice a decade. Regular live albums, tours and a ton of merch.

    Mike said during his book tour that they hadn't been together in a while, and they hadn't even spoken with MC since CC passed. Now, that likely has changed in the time since then, but it didn't seem as though they were full steam ahead.

    All it takes is a few sessions to get some fresh songs made. It can be done in a few weeks. I'm hopeful we see something new before the 2018 tour(s).

    Their live shows are not enough for me anymore 10 yrs ago yes these days I’d rather have new music , not paying for tickets to see betterman or nothingman or evenflow for the 100th time they’ve become predictable ...
