You're in a solid part of town and the metro close by will take you right to the doorstep of O2

Depends on what your plans are aside from the show. The area around O2 doesn't have much going on aside from a shopping mall. Transport around Prague is VERY easy and there's both the metro and tram stops right outside the venue. If I had my choice? Move on to P2.

Hoping I hit the lotto.  My wife and I want to see Prague and Krakow (along with the shows of course)!  Crossed Fingers :)

Ah man. I love Praha. Probably won't be able to get to Europe for this tour but can't wait for it anyway.

Can anyone tell me anything about Vinohrady?  Is it a decent place to stay?  I was hoping to stay outside of the tourist area but close to good cafes, restaurants and transportation, etc.

Yup, think you got it right. Or look for Dejvice as well.
Prague is relatively small city with great public transport.

Sorry for asking a non Prague question here but seems like some or most are doing the Prague - Krakow - Berlin trio. Going from Krakow to Berlin looks like it might be a little more expensive than I previously thought. Looks like there are not many options for trains. The direct flight with Ryanair is fairly expensive and very late. I was planning on exploring Berlin for a little bit on the 4th ideally. Besides the direct flight and potential 9 hour train ride what else where people looking at to make the trip? I realize more options will be available closer to the date too but I expect prices to jump.

I see a train for 90 euros on the 4th. A flight late on 4th for 120€, or on 5th for 60€. Might be a bus too but its always a whole day thing.

Guess one cant have it all ideally.
