Tax should have been $55 so they charged you $82 in fees?  That seems wrong their website shows it should only be $56? https://www.ups.com/ca/en/shipping/zones-and-rates/customs-clearance.page

Man I feel like they should have put some information out on these so people could know what they were getting.  I didn’t get one but i kinda think I’d be unhappy if I did.
I wouldn't say I am unhappy, but I am disappointed in the way the box was thrown together. I would rather of had them just sell the box so people could fill them up with reissues and the readily available other releases. Would have been MUCH cheaper for fans to have the collection. Selling it as Limited, imo was their way to get rid of a bunch of already available releases. C'mon to be honest they sold 500 more copies of Yield & No Code Reissues, Backspacer and Lightning Bolt to a majority of fans who already had the EXACT copies.

For this thing to be known as their Studio Album Boxset is an injustice to the music. Like I have said before, maybe Sony will properly release a boxset sometime in the future.
I'm still trying to figure out what the extra cost was for?!?

both well said. this will be the first "limited" box set arriving unsealed. some lps sealed, some not. more than double the price on the 10 box and vs/vitalogy. they had some heft...that was a box set! all in all, has been the most intriguing offering to date!

It's based on the Canadian $$'s, so you'd need to convert the USD paid to CDN dollar to get the proper amount.  Plus if you scroll to the bottom there's a bunch of possible addon charges.

Friends don't let friends use UPS standard to ship over the border.   10c only offers UPS Mail Innocations or  UPS Ground/Standard.  Always go for Mail Innovations.  Then it's Canada Post that processes the customs, so it's only $10 + tax instead of $80+tax.

UPS has a horrible reputation for horrible brokerage fees.  Other couriers do it, but UPS is the worst :(  Ideally you try and have foreign packages come through regular mail services opposed to couriers.

Yes, that was converted to Canadian. UPS actually worked out better for me, ended up only paying $55 canadian for 2 boxes.

I think the fact remains that this set was a nice way to receive all the studio albums, whether re-release or original as in the case of Backspacer and Lightning Bolt, in one nice complete package.

The Limited available with the content as a whole, as with the numbered COA included, isn't something for the vinyl audiophile per se.....but more for the vinyl collector "completeist".

I don't believe this is a set that will rival the Benny in terms of rarity or price, but I'm very glad to be getting it nonetheless.
Well it rivals the Benny in rarity, 500 (or 600?) vs 2000. but that rarity won't translate into crazy dollar amounts like the Benny has.
It’s not even in the same conversation as a Benny because the content on the Benny package is tough to find, these albums are all readily available.

Don't worry, you're going to see 50 posts that say "FS 2017 BOX SET - LIMITED TO 500".  And the first post underneath it says something like "great guy, great seller"

Meanwhile, the vitalogy post says "sealed."  Great deal!

Still curious why some albums are sealed and some are not, especially the reissues just coming out.
