Wow. I thought you were a Process Truster.

McConnell is another inexpensive, bottom of the barrel, Hinkie GEM. I love him as this team’s back up point guard.

Couldn't agree more on McConnell - He's the heart of this team at the moment and is loved by his team mates. Does he have limitations - absolutely, but his positives outweigh the negatives. Of coarse, once Fultz is fit, he be playing over TJ, but he's doing a good job so far this season.

Not that he is the same player, but he reminds me of Delly when he was at the Cavs -just a great team mate that others loved playing with.

I'll ride the wave where it takes me

McConnell stinks. just because he is white doesn't mean he sucks any less.  let's not pretend his race doesn't play a part with people liking him.    Covington has been a much bigger steal and gem than McConnell.

Not only has he performed so well so soon at NBA level but he has lost some of his Aussie accent and gotten an American accent so soon as well...

Kids a BEAST. ONLY gonna get better too.

How long has he been in the USA? I know he went to High School in the USA for at least 3 years, before his 1 year at LSU.  If so, maybe he's been around the American accent for awhile , and that's why he lost some of his Aussie accent? Plus, is his dad American? Though, i don't care what he sounds like, as long as he keeps on playing good ball>LOL!
He's been in the USA since 2013.
His dad played basketball here in Australia in the NBL.
    His mother is Australian.

Yeah he'swhat you want in a backup point guard. Hinkie did a great job in putting them in position to land stars like Ben and Jo etc...but also in finding guys like TJ and others to round out the team....and of course Bret Brown deserves a ton of credit for developing these guys over the last few years. I love the defense you get from TJ off the bench—shot is improved a little bit too

How can anyone complain about TJ? The guy plays hard and has improved his game, I don't care what color he is. If we find someone better then so be it. Praising TJ doesn't mean you're slighting Roco, he has played great and keeps getting better.
    Alright, alright, alright!

What does his color have to do with anything? And why would praising TJ mean slighting Cov? I don’t get it. Both mean so much to this team...

Sixers' Joel Embiid, Jerryd Bayless out Tuesday vs. Utah

Sixers center Joel Embiid attempts to dunk the basketball against Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner.

Joel Embiid will miss Tuesday night’s game in Salt Lake City as the 76ers kick off a five-game road trip with a game against the Utah Jazz.

The team says that Embiid is out because of “load management” and that the Sixers center will be available for Thursday’s game in Sacramento.

In addition, guard Jerryd Bayless injured his left wrist in the fourth quarter of Friday’s 121-110 win over Indiana and is out for at least Tuesday’s game.

Embiid was a limited participant in Monday’s practice. The Sixers had Saturday and Sunday off from practice.

Coach Brett Brown was limited in what he could say about Embiid’s time off.

“I follow the instruction of our medical people, and there is completely a thought-out plan why this plan has been recommended,” Brown said. “If it requires more information, they will be the ones to explain why they decided to make this recommendation.”

Work load. Embiid's always gonna miss games now and then in an effort to  keep him healthy. Dude's 7 ft, 280 some pounds with a lengthy injury history.

I've said this before but if we get 5 to 6 years of him at 60 games per year and around 30 minutes per game...I will be ecstatic. Seems like an odd one to miss now, though, after four days rest but whatever....

You don't want him to end up like Rose.  That is probably the biggest disappointment from a player I've seen.  Sooo much upside only to be sidelined with injury after injury...

I get he's gonna miss some games, but  not to play after 3 days of rest and he's not playing tonight? Odd is right. Makes you wonder. Why not play him tonight, against a better Jazz team, and then sit him for the Kings game?
