Stombo has played it several times. i think you can stream it on his or cbc's website anytime you wish.

Introduce Yerself out today. Remarkable that he recorded this half of this album shortly after his diagnosis and the other half after his evasive brain surgery.

"The first batch of songs was recorded quickly. After that, the treatment and surgery he underwent severely affected Mr. Downie's memory. He was able to complete a short summer tour with the Tragically Hip. In February of this year, he completed the album's material (some of it co-written with Broken Social Scene's Kevin Drew)."

x3. PJ and the Hip have had equal importance to me for most of my life. Met them a few times, have a signed setlist on which Gord wrote a message, was never sure exactly what it said, something like 'sete extrodinaire' because we had thanked him for playing Wheat Kings which was kind of rare at the time. Thanks Gord, for everything.

I was listening to Road Apples today thinking about Gordie.... We lost a national treasure one year ago.

Since JT is such a fan I was not surprised it coincided with the legalization of cannabis. It is a definite tip of the cap to Gord. :bow:
