This is my worst nightmare. I can't even imagine how much more it would suck for them to be stuck on this cruise.
1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
    1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California
    Nothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
    2022- Oakland Night 2

I have no desire to ever go on a cruise.  Even if it included a week of Pearl Jam shows.

Too many fan boys pushing kids up front for tambourines.  Never happen.
    Or pushing away kids.

I can't see those 311/KIss type cruises appealing to this band or its fan base...look at Gene Simmons arriving on that boat taking selfies as he struts past the line (I can only assume towards some Presidential Suite full of hookers and blow), it's all about self-aggrandizing douchery coupled with the claustrophobic confines of summer camp. I would go, but I'd hate myself for it.

How about something like this?  All inclusive resort, shows on the beach. An accoustic set to open each night.

And then on the other side I think it's a creative way for smaller bands to make more money.  Bands that had their hey day, but now only play smaller venues and make less money.   It's a way to make some extra money.     You don't usually see NHL/NBA sized Arena/Stadium bands doing that kind of thing.  I think most bands would rather be putting on shows, but some no longer have the popularity to do big shows.

Honestly it would be totally depressing if they ever did this. I can't imagine any of them would be so desperate for money.

Well dont worry, they will never ever do this. Just last year they were on a rooftop with 40k of their biggest fans 1 story down, and they didnt even wave. Thats how inaccessible they are and like to be.
