Yes, think it, say it.  I don't mean to sound like I'm telling anyone what to do or think.  I'm just suggesting that when someone  who is from a position most often of an opposing party or side does something that supports something one is in favor of, that it is more constructive to applaud that move rather than say "fuck you".  Unless, of course, the point is simply to champion division, anger, divisiveness, etc.   Maybe some people actually don't like the idea of getting along or having a world with less conflict.  I don't know.  Maybe so.

Thats why nothing gets solved. Both sides are hypocrites.  Politicians and the citizens who are hardcore this or that.  If hardcore dems and hardcore republicans would analyze themselves they’d see that they’re the same kind of person 

Sadly,  I find this to be more true all the time.

Regarding this side-track issue of which sides are doing what et al, here's my take: 

In a very general sense, philosophically, I think the Democrats have a big edge on Republicans.  They are more environmentally outspoken, more anti-war and generally less often racist.  But philosophy and talk are cheap.  Talk is not action and it's lack of action that is the reason we are still in perpetual war (the dems kept that going, it was not just the Bushes), we are still on a collision course toward human and other mega fauna extinction due to anthropogenic global warming, and minorities, especially African Americans, are still on the lowest rungs of the socio-economic ladder.  Democrats have been great at espousing all kinds of progressive rhetoric for several decades and yet the problems persist.  Enough talk.  Where's the doing?  There simply hasn't been enough.

It's not just Republican who live in big comfortable houses, fly all over the world on their luxurious vacations, think nothing of spending buckets of money of fine wines and fine dining, sail the seas on fancy yachts, etc., plenty of liberal Democrats do the same-- and then justify it by saying, "But I voted for Obama!" or, "Don't blame me, I voted for Hillary."  The wealthy run the world and the wealthy are not all Republicans.

Instead, if enough people were to write letters, organize rallies, call representatives and (especially) take personal actions to help others, live more simply, drive and fly fewer miles, reduce their energy and goods consumption, and support organizations like Southern Poverty Law Center whoa actually DO something about hate crimes, we would be in much better shape.

Lets stop pointing fingers and take a good look at what we ourselves are doing.  I'm sure some of us are involved, active and giving but we could all do better (me included, of course).  I say, less talk, more action.

Yea right? Both sides. Obama thoughtfully crafted a bill, got it passed and made some lives better. The repubs, despite the rehtoric and control of all three branches of government haven't done shit. But sure, blame the Dems. Don't even get me going on the shambles the previous Republican administration left this country in and what was turned over to trump, yea sure, right the ship? Trump is steering the ship right into the iceberg.

Yup, both sides are the same. You need to look in the mirror.
