That actually looks like it REALLY must have hurt. I laugh because this was practically a daily occurence on the playground at my elementary school because we'd play "bumps" - the goal was to send the person at the other end of teeter totter flying as far as possible. So fucking dangerous, I can't believe we got away with this "game", but we'd all crowd around and watch the event. It was the 80s, so..... The school finally put a stop to it when someone broke something badly enough.
