I'll never understand the condemnation on principle of presidents that have the upbringing and background that most resembles the average American, you know, middle class family, worked hard, got into good schools, made something of themselves, Carter, Clinton, Obama, and the universal demagogic lauding of those presidents that had everything handed to them, both Bushes and Trump, like they pretend to know the average American's struggle. I don't dimiss Clinton's lying under oath, however, his transgressions were never a threat to national security, nor was he incompetent in his carrying out his official duties. As a clueless person.... Why did America need 755 US diplomats over there? That is a lot. Also how many of them were put there by the Republicans? If 755 US diplomats can be expelled w/ out so much as a whisper from the WH clearly shows that they were useless to begin w/. Fodder to spare in abundance.0 -

Obama tossing out the 35 Russia diplomats set dangerous precedent not to mention violating the Vienna Convention. Putin follows suit and retaliates to sanctions (which predominately hurts ordinary citizens, see William Jefferson Clinton and Iraq sanctions) by tossing 755 further exacerbating relations.

Whether a diplomat is placed by a Republican or a Democrat is irrelevant: the mandate of a diplomat is to focus on improving relationships based on the agenda determined by the current administration.
