It's embarrassing Wrigley 2016 boots are still unannounced
I get that they asked for a little more time to do something special and that probably means a BluRay. But that was nearly a year ago! Video was shot, audio was recorded, what's the hold up??
Only thing I can think of is Pearl Jam likes to give work to smaller manufacturers as their way of giving back, and said little guy can't handle the order.
I forgive there's still no 2016 Holiday Single. It's only July. BUT WHERE IS WRIGLEY?!?! Just sell me the audio and I'll buy the BluRay later.
And Pearl Jam need a new concert to sell. I think they've released every song from Showbox 2003 DVD on YouTube.

I don't really think its embarrassing. Official Bluray/DVD's of live concerts usually take a year or longer to get published. It's rarely a quick turnover.
I'm definitely jonesing to have them, but the time frame doesn't really seem that out of the ordinary. I only hope it doesn't take so long it doesn't get left on the backburner like other pearl jam idea (like the '95 video, pj20, gorge video etc..).

If they are using any tie in with the Cubs there could be lingering MLB licensing issues. Agree at least some sort of tidbit would be good but i know the 10C's MO is to not say anything as opposed to putting something out there that turns out to be no do-able.0

Please no tie in with the Cubs (this coming from a South Sider fan).0 -

I think the bigger question is are we sure this is even still happening? There have been plans to release other shows in the past that fell through.0

I'm sure if the Cubs didn't win it all, there would've been a quicker delivery. But with the longer narrative of the championship and Eddie's ties to the team during the playoffs, I'm guessing they are taking the opportunity to tell a broader story beyond a standard concert DVD (for instance, the Murphy's Bleachers soundcheck).
MLB rights for any baseball footage or team logos could be holding it up, piecing together special segments may be part of it, you never know. I'm starting to think they're also holding back until the holidays where the non-rabid fans would also be picking up copies as well.0 -

Maybe, just maybe, the band does not want to release a inferior quality concert boot and then hear all the pissing & moaning about how the sound sucks, Pearl Jam is just interested in your $$$, missing tracks, blah, blah, blah, etc. . . .10-26-91 Cleveland

I love you Chicago people, really I do. But you guys have to slow your fuckin' roll. They'll end up like PJ20 and you'll end up not even caring any more. Just give it a few more years.www.cluthelee.com0

What fell through at PJ20? Did they ever announce a video for that or something?0
