    I thought my disclaimer was pretty clear as well. Just out of curiosity, what was the point given that we all agree it was utter bullshit?

    It just reeks of a hack piece with a disclaimer. Sort of equivalent to telling a long horrifying story only to toss in a disclaimer that it might not be true. I mean in this case the disclaimer wasn't even needed because of how utterly ridiculous it reads, but I don't think it's a stretch to say that unfortunately many would read that nonsense and believe it. Precisely what some may actually want. Maybe I am misunderstanding the intention, but it certainly seems like an attack on Clinton using what are clearly things she never said but then the disclaimer becomes the get out of jail free card.

    It's blatantly obvious satire not to be taken serious, you may be taking it too serious. Maybe I give most on these boards too much intellectual credit, my bad. I thought it was a clever well thought out and written piece that gives insight to what Clintonites and Bansters really think.

    In any event, while it was obviously clear the piece was nonsense, I do owe a mea culpa in that I read the first paragraph ("The following....etc") in the first post as your writing and not as part of the piece. That makes a world of difference. Again, my bad.

    considering clinton is not the president, i don't see what legs your argument is standing on. clinton made money giving speeches to wall street people trump actively employs former wall street execs in his cabinet. if you fail to see the danger in trump's cabinet picks i don't know what to tell you.

    Several comments later, you posted a link to the source with a clear "Satire Alert!!!" on the top. When people read the link and comment on the fact that it's satire, you defended your posts, insinuating we're just not "clever" enough to keep up, and that it was important to note the part of the satire that speaks to "what Clintonites and Bansters really think". Guess what? A piece of satire doesn't tell you a damn thing about what anyone except the satirist thinks!

    A year later, you revive this thread to post an article called "How Hillary Clinton's Goldman Sachs Speeches Cost Her The 2016 Election" featuring that title (but not the article, oh generous sharer of information - http://www.truthdig.com/arts_culture/item/hillary_clintons_goldman_sach_speeches_economic_elitism_20170703), a Reuters link about Trump promoting US natural gas exports, and the Editor's Notes. 

    Stop playing games and making cryptic insinuations: come right out and make a suggestion you're trying to reinforce with supporting evidence (even if your evidence is a satire column). Otherwise, don't be surprised when people have no positive sentiments to share with you. Trying to have a discussion and failing to even identify the point you're trying to make is a sure way to lose your audience.
