Why is his base not leaving him? Two reasons, I think. First, a good chunk of them literally don't hear about much of this. The media they consume just doesn't cover it, and when things are big enough that they have to, they can spin it so it's part of the lefty witch hunt. And it will only get worse.

If you think it's hard building a collusion case impartially, imagine how difficult it would be to prove a mental instability. You can't just point to twitter and say that he's mad. That's a vote folks in the moderate world wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole politically.0
