    i worked for the Queensland Lions(who are the original club before the A league name change) for like 4 years, they are just a bunch of arrogant pieces of shit who think their shit don't stink.

    they have run the actual club into almost ruin to get that team into A league.


    plus i think the whole board is shady, and they almost got into a shit load of trouble a little while ago because of some dodgy dealings.

    At least your club isn't owned by a shady Greek businessman who thinks it's a fantastic idea to pay $250,000 to a player who USED to be one of the best strikers in the world, but after becoming an alcoholic, fat, and plummeting into depression only managed to play around 30 games in 5 YEARS!! :eek:
    Not only that, but he manages to force the coach (Gary Van Egmond) to put him (Mario Jardel) into the team even though Jardel can't run any longer than half an hour.

    Plus the fact that even though the Jets have been around for 3 years, they STILL can't get a major sponsor :rolleyes:

    poor miron, got fired when he coached them in the XXXX cup, came back, coached them to back to back champs, gets the gig as A League coach, only to get fired again.

    Yeah Miron Bleiburg seemed like a genuinely nice bloke. I think at the end the day the Roar just wanted a "high profile" coach in charge, because when you look back at the Roar's record with Miron at the helm, he didn't do that bad of a job
