I would pass out if I got Release into Long Road for an opener. Amazing.
same here. Long road is my favorite song hands down.
It was the opposite for me in Phoenix 2013. I love Long Road, but was just a tiny bit bummed that I wouldn't be hearing Release. And then, bam! Both of those songs to start were great performances and pretty special. Followed by Lowlight which was good but Ed flubbed the beginning of the 3rd verse.
Honestly nothing beats any of the old school Release into two blazing rockers. The way it builds and ramps up the energy to it's powerful finish just needs something heavy after it. IMO.
Wow, that's awesome that they did that there, I had no idea as I've never heard that boot (but will have to now)! That was the same opening to Fenway #1, and was the same 3 I was going to say were the greatest! Long Road is just so unexpected after Release. We had goosebumps and maybe a few tears, just incredible!

Both Worcester shows are really good, but way different. Another show where Long Road follows Release is LA 1 2013. Pendulum>Release>Long Road. Fantastic opening. I saw Phoenix mentioned and that show is pretty stellar as well.

Best opener I've seen yet... release and nothingman were literally the 2 songs that I had been dying to hear live... after 6 shows I had not heard either... to hear them back to back brought tears to my eyes... beautiful opening to a fantastic show in St. Paul...

Wrigley 2016 night 1 was also pretty good
Low Light into Release was awesome....and I dig Rain by the Beatles as a nod to 2013
All the Wrigley shows had strong openings
