    That is ridiculously similair. I thought the same about his cover songs though then i realised he had to do them for a movie, so they had to sit right in the movie. THerefore limiting his song writing skills and not being able to have the cd as 'eddie written' as we would like.. That said, i still enjoy the cd.

    Those 2 songs are great songs, and they obviously fit into the movie better than Eddie's other songs that he decided to discard. I think we're all missing the point that this is a MOVIE SOUNDTRACK, not an exclusive Eddie Vedder solo album. If it was, don't you think there'd be at least a couple of anti-Bush/war songs?

    He was really limited too....specific instructions for each song eg; length, has to fade here, instrumental here etc; each song had to fit perfectly to certain parts of the movie - which I'm sure we'll understand more when we actually see the movie :)

    Blind Date is definitely my fav! I was cackin myself right from the start when he's getting ready, even wiping the steam from the mirror....and he's blind LMAO! They're very clever too. Itchy & Scratchy eat your heart out.

    I think they're funnier if you don't watch too many all in one sitting.....otherwise you kind of become numb (can't think of the word?)to the humour in it.
