Calling to experts: EV BATTLE T SHIRT

AzuVedderRoddAzuVedderRodd Mexico Posts: 185
Hey there!

Ev was wearing a t shirt in first show in Amsterdam with the word "battle" I can't recall if he used that shirt before.
Do you know what is this shirt about?

Looks like someone who hasn't gotten much rest and has been crying a lot. Can't imagine the range of emotions he was feeling going on stage today.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Is he walking onto the stage there...or about to turn away and walk off!?

Cool. But wow on postage. $35 US bucks to ship a t-shirt across the border?

$6 to ship inside the USA. To ship to the UK $125.

It's weird that I'm worried about a grown man who I've never met and is perfectly capable of taking care of himself. But I am.

I am in Canada, not the US, but if you can't find anyone else and you want to pay the $25 instead of $125, pm me. I'm happy to do that.

That's really kind of you, thanks.  I have an aunt who lives in the US, so I've messaged her - I don't like to bother her too much though!

I'd say so, says an athletic fit in the product description.

I don't do it, but I also don't see it as the same as buying something because a kardashian/random celebrity is wearing it. we assume, I think, (rightly or wrongly) that if ed's wearing it, there's some sort of message there, and maybe it connects the person in some way to one of their musical heros to share that message.

sometimes I've considered tracking down a shirt one of the guys in the band wore just because I like it, not because it was worn by one of them specifically.
    Darwinspeed, all.

    Cheers,

    HFD

Why does that bother you @mcgruff10 ?
Does it negatively impact your life if someone gets a shirt that a band member wore?

Might be able to hook you up too if it doesn't work out with your aunt. I'm in Vancouver Canada, but have a US address in Blaine, WA, that I can ship to. Was thinking of picking up one for myself too. I go to Seattle a lot for concerts, but the only issue is that I'm not going to the US next until August 1, so I could pick it up then and ship it through Canada Post when I'm back, but it could take awhile. PM me if that works for you.

What's your shipping rate to British Columbia? For Ontario it's $20 and Nova Scotia $35. Totally messed up shipping service they are using when all of USA is $6 bucks. :/

I get what you're saying. In this instance though, I really dig the company as I'm a massive baseball fan, and really love the bats they're making. Also, on a personal level, Fenway 1 was the most significant PJ show I've ever been to, or ever will go to, so I'd like to get that shirt.

But it's become kind of funny going to shows and seeing people wear various shirts EV has in the past. I noticed that a lot at Wrigley last year, and increasingly so at other shows too. It's almost the middle-age dude version of buying whatever trendy handbag a Kardashian has endorsed, lol.
