Lying to your kids......that's awful Kylie, truly awful ;)
Even though I know it's a 'nice lie' I still felt bad :o

If you think that's bad....I had to finally tell Steven (our oldest - who's 11!!!! ) that Santa isn't real, last week :( All our kids truly believe in him (well not Steven now :( ) and we were on the subject of Christmas and he came straight out and asked me if Santa really is real......I just couldn't lie anymore and made him promise not to say anything to the other 2. He didn't believe me at first. Poor little man was devastated....it broke my heart :(

Awww, that's sad. I can't believe that his friends hadn't said anything beforehand.
Christmas never felt the same after I found out that Santa didn't exist :(
I suppose that's one of the advantages of having kids, you get to recapture the excitement and magic of Christmas :)

Excellent! I love singalongs :D (poor people near me :o;) )

    That was at Newcastle!?!?!
I can't remember Boof handing the singing over to the crowd :o
I was probably too wrapped up in the moment :D

His friends HAVE been telling him for years and he just argues the point with them :(
I agree....I was 6 when I found out and you're right, it's not the same then.

He was trying to prove me wrong and asking all sorts of questions like "what about the reindeer poo? " (the kids always put carrots out the front for the reindeers and I chew them up and drop bits on the ground and put sheep poo on the lawn near where the carrots were). And "how can you and Dad buy us all that stuff?" etc etc etc :( He really didn't want to believe me.....but I just couldn't let him keep beliving at his age - he goes to highschool the year after next (I'm sure he would've figured it out by then?)
Now I just worry that if he has a fight with Connor, he'll tell him just to be mean.

It is nice on Chrissy Eve, being parents.....we usually just get to bed when the kids are waking up, by the time we've done the stockings and the tree and everything.....last year was the worst! Putting a big swing set together, that just didn't want to go together.....the later it got, the more we'd drunk, so I'm surprised it looked anything like swings in the morning ;) LOL!

Sounds like you've got a strong-willed kid there :) Not many kids would stand up to people who told them that there was no such thing as Santa. Glenn and yourself should be proud.
I wouldn't worry too much about him spilling the beans to Connor. Even if he does, would Connor even believe him?

Ahhh.....good old Christmas Eve. I used to get up at 3am. Poor Mum and Dad. Just like Glenn and yourself, 9 times out of 10 they'd only be getting to bed themselves by the time I woke up.

LOL! Yep....I was the same - my brother and I would set an alarm.

That's where the stockings are good.....they know they can't open anything under the tree until we get up and Glenn does the big sitting on a chair handing out the presents thing, but they're allowed to go through their stockings. That keeps them happy until we're up to do the tree. Mind you Glenn still, every year, does the old....."Nah, I think we should wait until we've all had breakfast and I've had a shower and got dressed etc; before we do the tree" he's just pulling their leg of course ;)

LOL! I hope I can get close enough to be able to see anything :) Gates open at 4.30, so hopefully we'll be there waiting to rush in. Got a huge day that day. We're heading up to the appartment in Perth the night before and then it's Connor's birthday on the day of the concert, so we'll try to spend as much of the day with him, but we have to drop the kids at Mum's (South of Perth) in time to get back and get ready to be in Claremont before gates open

No you don't sound gay LOL! I'm the first to pass comment on a beautiful girl and I'mdefinitely NOT gay :D

I put 'Across The Great Divide Tour" into the search and there's quite a lot. Daniel's looking pretty fit too :p Pity HE'S gay ;)

You HAVE got a busy day!!!
If you want a good position I'd aim to get there at least an hour before the gates open. Those SC fans are FREAKS. The PF fans are pretty commited too :)

Yeah...I'm shitting myself about that. I think I'll strap myself to either glenn or his best mates back :D and they can just barge through
Show doesn't start til 5.55. So we probably need to be there about 3.30 if the gates open 4.30... I'll be pusshing it.
As long as I'm there I guess....

I suppose that'll give you plenty of time to get it all chipped and ready.

GH3 comes out on my birthday :)

You women are able to push through crowds with ease :)
The only people who get angry at women pushing through are other women

I'm not....I'm more likely to be saying "oh sorry - after you" There's 8 of us too, so I'd like us to all stay together some how.

    LOL! I don't want much do I?!

See that's the only problem about it being a Chrissy present - we're not gonna be able to 'practice' GH3 before Nov ;)
