The Gracious Few was one of the rock albums of the year in 2010 IMO. Really good riffs, not much of a Candlebox fan, but that guy has a good set of pipes and sounds amazing on TGFs album.

Gives me hope for a new Live album though, as those guys are the core musicians. Take Ed away, and they suddenly knocked it out of the park.

Throwing copper is an absolute faultless album, sounds as good today as it did on release, hundreds of times listened and still is gold
There MTV unplugged is up there with the greatest unplugged/acoustic performances done ,in the PJ ,ALICE IN CHAINS ,STONE TEMPLE PiILOTS ,NIRVANA bracket IMO
  • weird how they had a new album out with Chris, and they basically pretend like it doesn't exist now that Ed is back in the band.

I was saying that when I thought they had announced the reunion with Ed very soon after the release of the record with Chris. I was incorrect. It was 2 years.

    carry on.

Looks like they'll be at ACL this fall, which is pretty cool because they'll have an afternoon slot, like 3pm because they're pretty low on the list.  Excited to see them.
I'm like an opening band for your mom.

Got my DTH yesterday. Pressing is nice, liners are lame. It looks like they scanned the CD booklet and put them on a 12x24 insert. They didn't even blow up the image to fit the page. the pics are a slight larger open CD booklet. Maybe thats the way the original was, but its pretty bad.

    Orange vinyl looks nice though.

These were done by MOV I think?
They have been guilty of bad art scanning on many occasions with their past releases.

Oh they have. Most of the time they just blow something up. This isn't even trying.

Had no idea these guys were opening for GNR in Winston Salem last Friday. Couldn't take a half day off work due to it being our annual sales meeting. Checked out their cover of Audioslave's I am the highway and it's really good. Bummed I missed out on their set. Needed some pregame time for Guns though.
