LIVE (the band, not the action of a band)

  • Looks like they'll be at ACL this fall, which is pretty cool because they'll have an afternoon slot, like 3pm because they're pretty low on the list.  Excited to see them.
I'm like an opening band for your mom.

Did anyone else preorder Secret Samadhi and The Distance to Here on vinyl and get a shipping delay notice? Now saying the earliest I'll get mine is the middle of June :-/

Got my DTH yesterday. Pressing is nice, liners are lame. It looks like they scanned the CD booklet and put them on a 12x24 insert. They didn't even blow up the image to fit the page. the pics are a slight larger open CD booklet. Maybe thats the way the original was, but its pretty bad.

    Orange vinyl looks nice though.

These were done by MOV I think?
They have been guilty of bad art scanning on many occasions with their past releases.
And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.

Oh they have. Most of the time they just blow something up. This isn't even trying.

Had no idea these guys were opening for GNR in Winston Salem last Friday. Couldn't take a half day off work due to it being our annual sales meeting. Checked out their cover of Audioslave's I am the highway and it's really good. Bummed I missed out on their set. Needed some pregame time for Guns though.

  • Oh, and I came by something called 'The Churchbox Sessions' which are Secret Samadhi songs in their infancy. So, so good!

Is there any info on the throwing copper reissue? It’s one of my all time faves but I’ve never owned it on vinyl, solely because the reviews have been so bad. I’ve been waiting to make it worth my while.
