Does it list the alternate tunings too..like on Daughter?

I'm sure. There are quite a few that are tuned 1/2 step down.

Sorry, but there's something very wrong about "Complete" without Footsteps.

Can't wait to see the counting of bars in "Ghost", "Cropduster" and alikes. The time shifts between 4/4, 3/4, 7/4 and 6/4. Cameron's a genius with these things - also in Soundgarden.

On another note - it'll be nice to see the official lyrics to all of their songs.

aren't pretty much all of the lyrics on this website already though?

Yes but some seem a bit off.

Yes.. Look at the snippet of All Or None.. Low E tuned down one and a half step to C#, and capo on 4th fret.. that's how I always played that song and sound very nice.. the second lead guitar tuned down half a step (actually I never noticed that)..

Ghost never shifts time signature, there's just a brief half-time feel section after the second guitar solo..
Cropduster main riff (the one that opens and close the song) is in 6/4, verses are in 7/4 (or you can view them as 4/4 + 3/4 bars if you prefer), rest of the song shifts between 4/4 and 6/4.. and one 9/8 bar (third bar into the song). Pretty sure that's how it will be transcribed..

The book seems to be quite complete and accurate by looking at the few sample pages, but you never know.. they show the noisy intro to Betterman, too.. and the Alive riff (that really wasn't that hard to figure out anway) is better represented here than on the old Hal-Leonard book for Ten.. I look forward for accurate transcribed solos for Go and Animal. Also, what exactly Mike and Stone play during the chorus of Why Go and Brain of J, I always wanted to see if my clues were correct..

I'm willing to guess that the band members themselves have very little, if anything at all, to do with this. The lyrics and tab will probably be as accurate as your favorite tab website. Close enough to get the job done if you want to play a cover, but wont be exactly how it was recorded or how they play it in many cases.

Agree. I bet the band just emails a thumbs up or down now to ideas. This one got a thumbs up.

Interesting that they gave this idea a thumbs up since there hasn´t been a note book since Ten.
But the word Complete has an odd ring to it in two ways: 1) Not complete at all 2) Will this really be the final catalogue of PJ (I hope (and think) not).
And he still gives his love,
    he just gives it away...

Could "complete" refer to the completeness of each song's score, not the completeness of the collection?

I find it interesting that anything available on third party sites is 25-30% cheaper than 10c. Aren't they losing money when everyone realizes Amazon is cheaper and buys through them when there is that option? I understand 10c cant offer free shipping as easily, but I would assume they could match the price since its the bands own book right? Or did they completely sell the rights away to it?

I read recently that Amazon is willing to take a loss to be the lowest priced source of the product. Not sure if that's what's going on here or not, but only loyalest won't jump on that deal.

You just can't beat Amazon, especially with their fast and reliable shipping. Amazon ships the way every entity on the internet should ship. Waiting 10+ days in 2017 to get an item is a little crazy considering just how much business is done online every single day.

I agree with complete relating to the scores and not the end of their music they will continue to develop.

Yeah, I think people are reading into the "Complete" a little too much as well. As far as released studio albums it is complete. That's all.

I don't mind the wait time as I've been shopping from 10club since the early '90's so I'm pretty much used to it. Just wished they upgraded their delivery service to something more faster when items ship from USA to Canada. I usually receive my USA goodies in under 10 days from many many online USA stores. But 10club items usually a month, and some. Something isn't right but they continue not to fix this issue. They are pretty much set for life with UPS for international shipments taking care of their PJ goodies so there is really nothing fans outside the USA can do about the shipping cost and long wait time. If we want to support our band and fanclub, ya just gotta get used to it.

Wish they could use USPS for their international shipping. Maybe someone in management will change their mind or least try out the service, while still using UPS for their USA deliveries. Someday ...

$56 is much lower than $75, especially when your on the fence and money is tight. Mike's Polaroid book is also much lower on Amazon.

    Guys, what a let down...
I was so pumped about this book..But now.. I have doubts about even buying it.. after having seen the previews pages..
Complete my ass... Guitar solos are not included.. at all.. not even the more simple ones (All those yesterdays).. Yeah, why losing time transcribing it? we just put a note saying 'Guitar Solo', and we're good.. wtf? the Alive score is really poor, imo (apart from the missing solo).. for example, in the main riff, there's that slight variation during the verses (the D note played instead of the A note on the 7th fret): this is not present on the score, just 'play simile'.. and the rest of the score isn't so accurate too..
What a waste of an opportunity.. I retire what I said before.. Since I guess all the songs will be made that way, this a total rip off.. I could make better scores of all the songs (solos included) and gave it for free to people.. really.
..oh, and now we know what streamlined means.

ps: is this really 800 pages? judging by how the songs are transcribed, 240 (like indicated on Amazon) seem already enough..
Is there something we're missing? Please, someone at TC, is this 240 or 800 pages? and are the previews a real representation of how the book will be done? Edit: well, seem like 816 pages is right, looking at the summary of the songs displayed.. I guess 240 is just a mistake..
But this book remain a huge disappointment... why this band can't have decent music scores?

At the risk of being overly negative, I wonder how accurate these are. Is it just a fancy collection of the types of hal leonard books that you see at guitar shops, or is it actually somewhat verified by the band? Ive never put a lot of faith in the hal leonard books. They generally get you in the ball park, but arent always 100 percent.

Being negative isn't a good way of living life.. but sadly, most of the time, by thinking negatively you are thinking right.
