Jazzbo26 I think the reason you are getting these type of responses is because nobody really knows how many shows there have been exactly.. it is debatable or subjective.. whether a TV appearance, or a few songs set, or a set with multiple members but not all members is considered a show.. the tour page does not include all shows played. What is considered a performance, or a concert, or a set maybe different things, or interpereted differently by different people. There may also have been undocumented early performances, impromptu sets by the band etc..

That depends on whether your counting shows or performances. Given all available knowledge QC was probably the 1000th performance, but not the 1000th show. There was a whole thread arguing about it... lol. I think the only way to resolve it to use the two different terms. Show/Concert vs. Appearance/Performance. Two different thing with two totals.
Then again I still believe there's probably a lost show or two from before they were famous that the sands of time forgot. It's probably hard to know for sure.

Does the rock and roll hall of fame count as a show or performance?
1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore
If we go to the interactive map they have, we should be able to see what they count as shows since they are listed, right? So im assuming adding all of those together constitutes the number they have.

The promos seem to suggest that Pearl Jam will be the headlining act at the HOF.
And they were not listed on the tickets for Global Citizen.
I'm not sure where I fall here. To me a Pearl Jam concert is 2 to 3 hours of just Pearl Jam. Anything less is an appearance. But it's purely subjective and in the end doesn't mean anything.

They have some oddball stuff on that map. Such as the two song performance at The Who Rock Honors show in 2008.

I was at that, walked to it from my house.
What about Lollapalooza or Bonaroo? Not on those tix. And Lolla 92 they were 2nd on the bill and only played 8-10 songs.

Back in the day a complete show may have only been 6-7 songs opening for AIC or another band.. even a headlining concert might have only been 10-12 songs.

I would consider all those things you mentioned to be shows based on the time period.

Well I had to make a decision for my little Fenway collage project. Went with the site and called Night 2 show #966.

IMO, a show is where "Pearl Jam" appears somewhere on the ticket, you have all members and it's gotta be at least 6-7 songs in a row.
