I'm in that 9% who voted "Present Tense", obviously a fan favorite and have often thought "Off He Goes" is one of Pearl Jam's best songs and it is leading here as weakest link. What the heck is wrong with me>
Leading the weakest link in the final 4 round, so hardly leading the weakest link for No Code. Im still trying to decide between Hail Hail and OHGn for this round. In My Tree and PT have always been my favorite two songs on the album, dont know how I will vote that round, assuming it is those 2.
My favorites are songs 1 - 10 Every. Song. Matters.
I'm on board with the Red Mosquito love. One of the best lyrics Ed's written at the end of that song. A lot of self reflection on this album is why it's so good.
Let us face it. Those of us that were lucky enough to fall in love w/ this album will never again feel it again w/ another. It really is too bad. I am so lucky to have discovered PJ from the start. This band is just amazing and I really think that most songs on Riot Act suck except for Green Disease.
It's looking, statistically, like we will have another Ed composition win here. That's three albums in a row. He probably won't win Yield, but Light Years, Breakerfall, Insignificance, Grievance, and Parting Ways are all credible come Binaural.
I just think it's fascinating with how Stone was the music guy early on, Ed really stepped up and took control. And he's earned it with this output.

Oh good! And yes, "In My Tree" is fantastic.

Dude you and I think the same. Except I d choose I am mine over green disease.

I Am Mine is a great song too I just forgot it was on RA.
Still expecting the faithful to stand in solidarity if it's a PT vs. IMT final.... either a no vote or a perfect split, making NC the only two winner album! Would be deservedly so.

Statistically speaking, this round is already over.
Oh, my. Did I speak to soon??? The votes are swinging in Hail Hail's favour (or against Present Tense). However, for better or worse, we are closing in on our usual "cap" for number of voters in any given round.
Would liked to have seen Who You Are and Red Mosquito in the final four instead of Off He Goes and Present Tense. Really surprised that Red Mosquito didn't make the cut
Speaking of which....would also liked to have seen Duke and Kansas make the Final Four in my bracket for Jeff's signed bass
Was tempting to vote Hail Hail just to ensure PT makes it to the final. But that's cheating and I had to go with my gut, although it was very close between OHG and Hail Hail anyway.

It may be that folks misplace what is 'weak' from a rock band by associating the term with the acoustic more ballad-like songs (although admittedly Release and Immortality won or nearly won the vote, and rightfully so)? One of my favorite songs off the album, Who You Are, falls into this category as well. Some of my favorite songs by PJ are the slower, more acoustic ones.
Hardest vote yet. Off he goes, weakest link?...what have I just done!

Likewise, as much as they are my favourite I never knew many others that thought alike that they'd be neck and neck for the win! :

But then I'm just sitting here waiting for this album to be done. I've been pretty checked out since Habit went.
You never really had to begin with.
Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.
I guess I will pick...
