Okay ticketmaster have now got price ranges from £61 to £95. And i feel like a bit of a div.

Although maybe the complaints about the ticket prices have seen a change of heart.

£95 as a top price is still too much though in my eyes.

just seen the same, now thats more like it. £95 for a close to the stage seat is maybe expected and then 60 or 70 quid for the rest is about what we'd also expect.

First time trying for 10c tickets, Dublin show. If tickets are sold as a pair would they be together or in separate areas of the venue? Bit confused on this from looking at previous posts. Don't want to be on my own at a gig...

From a US standpoint, my tickets have always been together. I can't speak for any of the European shows though.

I want to know what he's going to be doing between Cork and Antwerp. I really hope more dates don't get added after people are rushing to book tickets now.

My experience where we were separated in Verona was a one off, every other seated gig with tickets via tenclub I have been to the pair of tickets have been together (that's 5 out 6 times they've been together) - I was just stating that it's not 100% guarantee in my experience

Question for anyone who was at the Hammersmith Apollo shows in 2012 who sat downstairs, how is the view down there, I was in the balcony, couldn't tell if the downstairs has a sloped floor.

I was downstairs with 10c tickets on night 1. About 6 rows back dead centre. From memory the seats in that front block were all on the same level / flat (either that or any incline was minimal) but then those further back in the lower level were definitely at a higher level - behind the walkway that divided the front set of seats.

I'm sure others can correct me if my memory has let me down.

    Was 100% in..saw the ticket price...I'm out.

    what price would you pay?
between 45-60€ is the right price
when u saw pj last time at this price?
    not at festival..
cos oslo was 152 dollars per ticket 3 years ago..italy was 100 per ticket
add now that are small venues eddie plays and not 50k stadium..
    Milan 2014 was 60€.

From the 6 shows i saw in europe in 2014 the most expensive was Berlin @ 74€.

The Oslo tickets were a wedding gift so i dont know who much they were but if my memory serves me right this is what we paid(our honeymoon was seeing PJ around Europe) :

    Amsterdam 55€ each night
    Milan 60€
    Vienna 50€
    Berlin 74€
    dude,,are u kidding me???
i went to allt he shows u put the prices,,

amsteram was..was 188 usa dollars the 10c pair.andf was the cheapest of all tour.do u know how much is 188 usa?
177 euros..that makes it makes it 86 euros per ticket
we are taslking about 10c tix..

    ticket prices
milan : pair 240 usd 120 dollars per tix aka 113 euros per ticket
Trieste: 233 usd -116 dollars per tix aka 113 euros per ticket
Vienna :211 usd 105 dollars per tix aka 99 euros per ticket
Berlin : 228 usd -114 dollars per tix aka 107 euros per ticket
Stockholm 278 usd - 139 dollars per tix aka 131 euros per ticket
oslo : 304 usd -152 dollars per tix aka 143 euros per ticket

thats the prices i paid for 10c tix
You're talking with the exchange rate now (it was very different then), the actual price sold to the vast majority was in euros and as quoted above.. Hence why the EV prices are a big jump!

Okay, I'm so thrilled Ed's finally at long last bringing his solo show to Dublin. But...

(I'm not going to get into the ticket price issue, other than to say it is expensive, but when you have lost most of the income you used to make from record sales to streaming & free downloads & have to make it back from touring but can only do a short tour, then high ticket prices are unfortunately inevitable.)

    But...

    My real disappointment is this:

    Dublin has this... http://www.thespencerhotel.com/upload/slide_images/olympia-1.jpg

    and this...
    https://goo.gl/images/bKwO2U

    and this...
    http://www.vicarstreet.com/images/slides/Vicar-St-empty-seated-candles.jpg

    and this...
    http://www.eventrocks.com/assets/iveagh_gardens_dublin_stage_52692.jpg

... all infinitely more suited to the lovely intimacy of Ed's solo show than this...
    http://www.mapaplan.com/seating-plan/the-o2-arena-dublin-detailed-numbers-chart/high-resolution/the-o2-arena-dublin-seating-plan-02-Best-seats-viewer-View-from-Block-H-Row-40-Seat-14-3d-virtual-interactive-inside-tour-high-resolution.jpg

It makes no sense. Such a ridiculously oversized, impersonal, totally inappropriate choice of venue, that's going to be virtually impossible to fill - while there are so many far more suitable & lovely theatres I was hoping he might have played in.

Ah well. It's all about ťhe music so it's a minor gripe. But such a wasted opportunity...
