I forced my way through the first season this past year and it didn't hook me. Can't see how some say this is better then the Sopranos.

It is tough to follow at first, takes awhile to get on to the lingo, but it couldn't recommend it enough.

Like mrussel1 said, easily in my top 3 for HBO, and that is a high bar.

I would have Deadwood in my top 3, and Westworld is pretty awesome so far.

We have placed a hiring freeze on nonmilitary and nonessential federal workers. Jobs traditionally filled by minorities and women. Shhhhhhhh, do you hear the dog whistle BS?

We have cleared the way for the construction of the Keystone and Dakota pipelines, thereby creating tens of thousands of jobs. Screw those Native Americans. We don't build pipelines through white people's property.

At the same time, my administration has answered the pleas of immigration enforcement and border security by finally enforcing our immigration laws, We're going to focus our law enforcement efforts on the immigrant community because we know they commit the most crime. And we know the black guy in office didn't enforce any immigration laws. Its our turn now.

On our 100th anniversary, in 1876, citizens across our nation came to Philadelphia to celebrate America's centennial. At that celebration, the country's builders and artists and inventors showed off their wonderful creations. Alexander Graham Bell displayed his telephone for the first time. Remington unveiled the first typewriter. An early attempt was made at electric light. Thomas Edison showed the telegraph and an electric pen. Imagine the wonders our country could know in America's 250th year. Three white guys referenced. Couldn't come up with a minority that contributed to the US' greatness, I guess?

It was a speech directed at white America delivered by a white guy of privilege, who has never struggled in his life. He spoke to white America and if you listened closely, you could hear the dog whistles. I did. And I'm not the only one.

"It's kind of like how he talks about Chicago but does nothing to help. I've invited him to come to Chicago, to put some action behind his rhetoric, and help find solutions to create job opportunity and reduce gun violence in our community. My invitations have been met with pure silence."
