How many episodes in before Negan dies? Second half? Show stopper?

The actor who plays Negan already said that he would be back for next season.
Thought they were going to wrap this up in two seasons?
No idea. I just heard Jeffrey Dean Morgan on the Howard Stern show a couple months ago and he said that they had just finished filming season 6 and that he would be back for season 7.

    This is season 7 still.

TWD has been doing half seasons so it seems like it should be season 10 right now.

I actually try not to read anything with a spoiler, lol. So he is around for the rest of this season. He doesn't die, that sucks.

he's still alive in the comics I believe. which are a couple years, if not more, ahead of the show.

  • If they don't kill neegan this season, the show is going to hit really bad. They've never been "at one place" for longer than 2 seasons. As much as I love the character, dealing with how Rick is going to kill him for a third season would be pushing it too far.

I agree that they'll probably drag Negan's run out another season or 2. Whether it follows the comics or not, we'll see. For all the hype, he kinda blows and almost every episode since his intro has sucked ass. Some entertaining moments, but a lot of waiting around for very little to happen. Now it looks like they're bringing back the ridiculous version of Carol, judging by the preview.

I was thinking the same thing. And it felt like an episode of the A-Team when they all started removing the dynamite from the cable. It needed it's own cheesy theme music.

I know. They spend the better part of 7 seasons avoiding crowds of walkers. Now they just run through them like they're not even there. This show better pick up the pace. It's way too slow now.

And did anyone else notice, or maybe im just seeing things, but when Father Gabriel drives off in the car at the beginning, the shadow of a head pops up from the back seat as the camera pans out.

It was the boots wearing guy, from the last scene in the half season finale. I only remember b/c my dvr started early and caught the last scene. That dude came from the supply boat and is probably aligned with the new group.

I think the close up herky jerky editing makes them escaping the walkers seem more ridiculous. They thinned them out pretty good with the walker clothesline.
