He also has a history of believing in baby conspiracies. I have been reading Andrew Sullivan for years and I know full well his evolution on conservatism. As far as his support for LGBT rights it is about the same as Trump's which predated both Obama and Hillary Clinton. Trump was for gay marriage before it was cool.

What I find astounding is that President Trump hasn't accomplished anything yet since his election three short weeks ago and a lot of folks here still hate the man.

Ok doctor. So you have made the diagnosis. I assume at this stage your qualifications should touch upon his ability to function with this horrible and obviously debilitating condition. I mean the purpose of the "diagnosis" controversy is to sugget that the President is not healthy enough to function in his role and therefore for the good of the country should be removed from office. This is the testimony that a qualified doctor would be required to give in any impeachment hearing so if this is your belief you should certainly be prepared to present this point of view. You should also be ready to provide some examples of other patients you have treated with the same diagnosis who have been unable to function in high level situations. Congress will be very interested in hearing your expert opinion and as a matter of fact so would we all. Feel free to have at it. If this is your professional belief go ahead and make the case.

No. I told you that I am results driven. There are currently no results other then tumult and your emotions. The same kind of tumult and emotions that led you and everyone else to declare that he and the GOP were on their way to a massive electoral defeat. If you were intelligent you would say to yourself..."I have my predictions but I really have no idea how this will all turnout". That is where I am at and for the record I have predicted failure. I have predicted failure though not because of the man but because of the extent of the world's problems that you don't see yet lay before us all. I believe the world is essentially irreparable and that Trump is a final gamble to set things right. You believe that the world is generally ok (nothing to be afraid of I believe you said) but that Trump himself is the crisis (we must fear him!).

You can not win in a liberal forum such as this.

with the immigration ban, yes. however, you have to remember all the outrage towards Trump leading up to the ban. you can't discount the mounting hatred towards the man from the left, the middle, and I'm sure behind closed doors, even the right. had it been JUST the ban, you wouldn't be seeing the outrage you are now. it is the total package that people are worried about.

Ben Carson would have been a disaster on an equal level. Carly would have been welcome in my eyes.

Testy testy. Looks like hit touched a nerve. I'm not saying this Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a reason he should be impeached. Doing that would be an affront to the Constitution, because he was elected and this is who people wanted. I would say being unfit mentally for the presidency would be things like senility, or psychosis, where the person's out of touch with reality. Instead, trump showed us his NPD and what he was about in the campaign. If there happened to be a hearing specifically about his NPD, it actually wouldn't be difficult to make this case, but we don't, and shouldn't, have to get there. I think what will get him impeached are things that are manifestations of his Narcissism. Examples: his conflict of interests with his business that he hasn't separated himself from, and the likely evidence of treasonous activities with Russia.

And if you haven't noticed, trump does not function well in "high level situations". He flubs, is impulsive, has tantrums, bullies, and is extremely awkward. These things run opposite the job, and we're only on day 24.
