spinning it now! guess i didn't fully get into this one until summer of '98 because it reminds me of driving in my car during that summer break
still now when i listen to it i find many songs' bridges/breakdowns exceptionally good, particularly pilate, low light, brain of j...
oh yea, and the given to fly guitar riff was the only song i've ever used as a ringtone. that was ~15 years ago and i still reach for my phone every time the song starts
it's evolution baby!Post edited by Pixeltender on0 -

A great album. Great in the car. Anyone remember the Yield nights on here from quite a few years ago? A bunch of people would hit play at the same time to synchronize listening and just talk about each track. It was fun.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

Listening parties. Good times. I wasn't here for Yield, but I remember doing it for Avocado.JaneNY said:A great album. Great in the car. Yield is what sealed the deal for me. I was big on Vitalogy then not so much on No Code (although I came around....I was most likely more into Soundgarden at that time) but Yield blew me away.

Just took Yield for a cover to cover spin which I haven't done in quite some time. Can someone please point me to a bad song on this amazing F'ing record?? What a masterpiece for a band whose entire catalog is a masterpiece.0
