Backspacer vinyl question

Curious I bought a Backspacer vinyl a couple years ago through Pearl Jam.com. Is there a chance it could be white? Or were those only issued when the record was first released? It was 50% off so I couldn't resist buying it, but no other reason to open it cause I got my original copy to spin.

    The white I got was sold as a White, don't know if they put some random white in the black stock!!!

    The White vinyl I have says white vinyl on the outside, so you know if it's white before opening it. I don't think that Backspacer vinyl is worth much still sealed so open that bad boy up and spin it!

Either you have a special copy that no one else got, or your memory is failing you, 'cause the white copies of Backspacer LP, if still sealed, are totally unrecognizable from the US black regular version, the packaging is exactly the same, and no stickers outside that indicate the color.. I have both and can totally confirm this (the EU pressing is easily recognizable though, have that one too)..
    My white copy is still sealed, but I ordered it from TC when they put them on sale here for a short period (after some people already spent something like $1000 on Ebay for it).. I kept the receipt that says "Backspacer white" so I can distinguish it from the black one.

    To the OP: if your copy was not indicated as white at time of purchase, then you can be pretty sure it's black. But, only way to be 100% sure? Just open it.

    Thats what i thought. Sure mine doesnt say white anywhere. Sure hope 10c sent me a white like they were supposed too!

    I've got two copies (both black) they were actually giving out free copies at the shoebox 10c pop up some years ago after i bought the pj20 vinyl.
