I'll go in the opposite direction. The cheapest poster (we don't have many and nothing like people here) we have is the one my husband just bought. It's a band signed venue specific poster from Dark Tranquility for $10. He was pretty excited about it.
We should also note that we don't buy posters we aren't willing to hang on our walls. No flat file here.
Can we ask that of the most expensive poster that has been purchased, is it hanging on the wall?2014: Cincinnati

$400, overpaid for a poster that now goes for $225. Taught me a lesson to NEVER jump in on the hype of a poster immediately.
Has almost turned me off the poster game entirely. Will never pay a lot for a new poster again.Post edited by MedozK on0 -

$425 for a framed Seattle '98 including shipping to Canada. I still think I got a pretty good deal on it. It was my holy grail. Thankfully the Canadian Dollar was around par with the US dollar at the time. I'm not sure I could of afforded that at today's exchange rates

lol, I actually overpaid for that one too. Missed the drop and had to pay ebay price. To me older prints are different than a new one. I would never pay a lot for a new one now. I would would still love to find a Hess '94 Cleveland for a decent price.ski-bum said:Post edited by MedozK on0 -

$360 for the Emek Mars Volta Bedlam on Mars print. And almost as much framing it, and yes, it's framed prominently and is still my favorite poster. Was also my first Emek print...far from my last. But besides that one, I rarely pay more than the original price. They always seem to come back down to earth anyway...
