Hillary Clinton
I've been saying this from the start. it's only been rigged in the last year or so, apparently.pjhawks said:
wait so it was rigged when Gore lost even though he got more votes and now it's rigged because Hillary is gonna win? so wait what is it the republicans and democrats take turns rigging elections? who gets to decide whose turn it is? if it's the democrats in 2016 do the republicans get their turn in 2020 or do they have to wait until 2024? enlighten me it's confusing.Free said:
Do I really have to go into this again? It's been rigged for a long time see the Podesta thread. Any Bernie supporter knows how rigged it is.Go Beavers said:
How do you know it's rigged?Free said:It doesn't matter, it's rigged for Clinton.
But I may write in Bernie Sanders or vote Jill Stein, maybe even Trump.By The Time They Figure Out What Went Wrong, We'll Be Sitting On A Beach, Earning Twenty Percent.0 -

I knew a girl who used abortions as her form of birth control. it was disgusting. but she is the extreme minority. I cannot imagine the stress on the system if we forced everyone to have their baby. is Trump willing to budget for that? I guess he wants more "inner city" kids that no one wants??pjalive21 said:
no i dont think it should be overturned as im all for individual rights, BUT i believe we should have a serious tweaking of term limit abortions and specifically make it for rape, incest, and medical....i know people who have had abortions and they didn't fit any of that criteria and i wish i could see the stats on that...and when the hell are people going to start fighting for babies rights as much as adults who have lived a good chunk of their life??my2hands said:
Do you think Roe v. Wade should be overturned and women who have abortions should be punished?pjalive21 said:3rd Party wont stop HRC...so i have a protest vote
I could write in Rand Paul or Kasich but that wont stop the machine
and you bring up one issue out of the the dozens that i may not disagree on...this isnt a one issue electionBy The Time They Figure Out What Went Wrong, We'll Be Sitting On A Beach, Earning Twenty Percent.0 -
It's rigged until the person wins who you want to win, then "it's good to see the system work like it should" and "the people have spoken"0

Hillary ClintonI don't think Bernie supporters can process having a deck stacked against them against a rigged election.
The DNC favoring Clinton was wrong. Having said that, I can understand why they wouldn't want the head of the ticket to be a vowed Socialist. That would play terribly for down ballot races. So while they favored Clinton, the voters in the end selected Clinton and Clinton delegates. No voting machines were rigged. No results were swayed by election officials. The deck was just stacked against him.0 -
unsung I stopped by on March 7 2024. First time in many years, had to update payment info. Hope all is well. Politicians suck. Bye. Posts: 9,487I'm not.0

Bernie only recently became a Democrat. Unlikely that the party would throw its weight behind someone they'd consider a newbie, no matter how successful he'd been as an Independent.ledvedderman said:I don't think Bernie supporters can process having a deck stacked against them against a rigged election.

Donald Trump
Im not saying we should force anyone to have children, lord know there are people in the news who have kids that should have never had them, but the original concept of abortion was to keep the minority population down...thats why i am completely stumped why minorities support the democratic party (not saying they should support the repubs), but thats a whole other conversationHughFreakingDillon said:

Stein is pretty smart but has no chance, Johnson is too stoned to know geography, so there isnt a good alternative to my protest with Trump who actually has a shot to stop HRC, at least if Trump got in there would be enough to keep in in check unlike HRC who owns damn near everyone (ok so im blowing that out of preportion a little)....trust me like ive said numerous time i would have liked to see Rand Paul or Kasich run against her in a substantive debatemy2hands said:
To me Roe v. Wade is a core issue and an absolute litmus test for me as a voter... I would vote against Jesus Christ if he wanted to overturn it and punish women for having an abortion...pjalive21 said:

I don't see Donald Trump as a protest vote... I see him as a bigoted, loud mouth, ignorant nominee on a major party that is dangerous.... if people said they were voting 3rd party as a protest I wouldn't blink an eye... but when people think casting a vote for this guy is a protest, I take pause
It's your vote brother, so really it's none of my business, but I'm sure there is someone more worthy of your protest vote

OtherNot meaning to disparage your poll, Jed, but it would have been more interesting if the choices had been Clinton, Trump, Stein, Johnson, Other.
Without one iota of doubt, Stein for me."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -

Anarkeist! Haha, just kidding.tonifig8 said:We're going to need some of you third party folks to vote for the lesser of the two evils, Donald Trump. This is the only way we're going to get any significant change in Washington. People will actually become more active in holding trump accountable.
Don't allow Clinton to continue to rig the system. She will only expand it and will grow the Surveillance state.
Patriots like Assange will be hunted down like dogs. Govt will only grow and become powerful.
Just like she went after her husbands accusers, she'll go after all those who once posed a threat. This a very dangerous political we're dealing with here.
Jump ship folks

Abortion has been practiced for millennia, so I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that it was intended to keep the minority population down. You may be thinking of the eugenics movement, where sterilization was forced on many people in the early 20th century. But abortion laws in the U.S. initially came about in the 19th century.pjalive21 said:Im not saying we should force anyone to have children, lord know there are people in the news who have kids that should have never had them, but the original concept of abortion was to keep the minority population down...thats why i am completely stumped why minorities support the democratic party (not saying they should support the repubs), but thats a whole other conversation

It seems like one of those half baked theories that are made up to try and keep minorities from voting Dem.Who Princess said:

Trump will bring zero change. Who is going to work with him? Democrats won't. The Speaker of the House can't stand him.tonifig8 said:We're going to need some of you third party folks to vote for the lesser of the two evils, Donald Trump. What path to bringing change to DC do you see as possible under Trump?0 -
Donald Trump^^^
Since non-American 10c members can't vote in this poll they can respond.
Trump has changed one major thing that is undeniable.
He has got people of all ages and races across America and the world to talk about and engage in politics.
Something that has been lacking.0 -
How do you figure? People talk about it every four years. This just has a more disturbing trainwreck/circus appeal. A lot of people have tuned out, and a lot of Trump voters are hiding in the closet without commenting.PJfanwillneverleave1 said:^^^

But how will he logically bring change to DC? Getting elected isn't enough. What makes you think the GOP Congress would give him any sort of feather in his cap to win re-election?0
