    Not my first choice, but I could totally eat that up. I love red meat. Lately I've been addicted to the spicy pimento cheese and bacon jam burgers from a restaurant near my office.

    Around a month ago I purchased a "new to me" used book from a used book store downtown. Bonus, I got to pet the cat that lives in the store.

    If I didn't know brianlux is in CA, I'd say you visited his bookstore! I love random animal encounters...always makes my day.

    I've heard of cat cafes but never been to one.

    (we sort of have our own at home, with two kitties)

    Are there certain animals you just can't get into?

    Ha, ha..nope it was on the East Coast, but it sounds like a place to check out next time I'm on the Westside! I love random animal encounters as well. I met a diabetic alert service dog at the grocery store not too long ago. His owner said he not only notifies him when his blood sugar is low, but has notified strangers when out and about. He can sniff it out...truly amazing.

    Not, so much anymore.. I do get stressed out, that is for sure, but I've found ways to combat stress.
