Today I received the Made in EU Sony Germany 7" singles set from Amazon UK.
They arrived here first, before any orders from Amazon Canada or 10club USA.
Really shocking as they were shipped out after Amazon CDN & 10club USA shipped their orders out.0 -

It was wierd going into my local record store today and seeing new copies of No Code and Yield on the shelf. Haven't see those in a store since 1998 when I bought mine in Saskatoon and Victoria (respectively). The even better news was someone just sold them a big batch of '00 bootlegs so I finally picked up a used copy of Vegas '00 for 19.99 cdn.0 -

Amazon Canada is crazy with shipping records. First they put them into a mailer which looks like what 95% of other retailers would use for shipping (it's pretty sturdy). Then they put it in a big box full of crumpled up paper. This is exactly why I decided to forego ordering these through 10C, it was much faster (and cheaper) to purchase from my local Newbury Comics.....not that any random local record store would also stock these, but still, it did make it easy.Thirty Bills Unpaid said:So... still no have 10C order.

I decided to get at my local store so I could 1) get it on the DAY OF RELEASE (FFS, that's the least one could expect) and, 2) in case one and/or the other was defective it would be easy to exchange. Which brings me to 3) neither of my copies were any less than fantastic, quiet, flat, beautifully-sounding awesomeness...unlike many of the copies sold through 10C that were warped and needed to be returned.0 -
