Way nicer than reusable shopping bags. They're softer than canvas, but a sturdy, cotton I would guess. It's big enough for me to pack (lightly) for a weekend away.

They are very nice and high quality. They are lined, at least the Fenway one is (I wasn't able to get the Wrigley one until now, thanks SLH!). I wish the totes were hoodies so I could wear them

When your team sucks, there isn't much to cheer for. That's kinda how sports work.
Oh, for sure! Luckily, baseball is pretty far down my list of sports interests, so I'm a fair-weather Mariners fan anyway. But if the Mariners ever do make a run, I expect we'll see a bunch of PJ M's gear that I won't have any interest in (unless they do fitted hats with human head shaped crowns and curved bills again).

Akin to the PJ Seahawks gear in recent years. And amen on the hats!! The box crowns and flat bills not only look ridiculous, they're uncomfortable as hell! Even if you bend the bill, they still don't feel right.
In terms of quality, and I checked out everthing at Fenway and Wrigley shows, the tote bags are the highest quality. The jerseys are the same kind of jerseys made in knock off sweat shops in China. I have several knock off jerseys and authentic ones and the PJ ones are crappy quality, unlike the 200 NHL, NFL, MLB authentic ones. The hoodies were the same way, lower quality and 100 percent cotton which means they will fade like a mofo over time (and are black, which sucks). Poly hoodies are the way to go or at least a hi percentage of poly for hoodies so it was disappointing that the Fenway and Wrigley hoods were 100 percent cotton.
Anyhow, the totes are the bomb. Not canvas like...they are softer, with a sick lining. Kinda heavy duty and should last quite awhile and be able to take a decent beating. I picked up totes at both Fenway and Wrigley and don't regret it one bit.
Side note, the quality of the hats is damn, damn good too if you're on the fence. 100 percent wool, nice embroidery, and cool linings. Totally worth it for 35 bucks.
