Acronym/Initialism Game

Mostly a game but also a way to learn the difference between and acronym and an initialism. One person gives and acronym. The next person uses the last letter of the acronym to form an initialism. The next person uses the last letter of the initialism to form an acronym, etc.

Example:

NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) -> ABC (American Broadcasting Company) -> CORE (Consortium for Oceanographic Research and Education)

Make sure you know the difference between an acronym and an initialism before you play.

If they sound plausible, you can even make them up.

I'll start with an acronym:

PAWS (Progressive Animal Welfare Society)

    AAA (because I'm fairly sure that no one pronounces it like "aaaaaah". But if we needed an acronym, I would have gone for Wob's favourite organization - AARP)
